You bring the launch monitor, projector, and mat. Here is exactly what that means.
StowGolf is the enclosure and screen; the tech is yours to choose. Most sim sellers leave you alone with that research. We did it for you instead: three questions, four honest tiers, real prices including the subscriptions nobody publishes. We sell none of this hardware and there is not a single affiliate link on this page. Nobody should order a StowGolf without knowing exactly how they could finish it.

Answer three questions. Get your finish list.
Computer or not, how deep the room is, and where the projector lives. That is genuinely the whole decision. Everything else is a line item.
Do you want a computer in the loop?
How deep is your room?
The bay itself is only 5 ft deep. This question is about the launch monitor: behind-ball radar units need 6.5 to 8.5 ft behind the ball on top of 8 ft of ball flight, and that is the one thing no amount of budget fixes.
Pick a depth and we will tell you which monitor architectures your room actually supports.
How will you mount the projector?
Short-throw projectors sit about 5 to 8.5 ft from a 10 ft wide screen, which is inside the bay and the swing zone. So placement is a real decision, and it is the one place the fold changes the answer.
Pick a mount and we will give you the honest tradeoff, including what it does to image quality.
Answer the three questions and your finish list appears here: the tier, the year-one all-in number, and what it costs to carry every year after.
Pick a lane. Every number is on the table.
Four honest ways to finish the bay, from first simulator to no-compromise build. We sell none of this hardware and link nothing for commission; these are the stacks we would buy ourselves.

How the totals are built: the add-on is the launch monitor, the compute, and the projector at the prices shown. Year one adds the $2,495 enclosure and the first year of subscriptions. The mat, cables, and mount are extra and listed below. Projector and PC figures are retailer prices and estimates, so treat them as approximate. Footnote units: the Garmin R10 at about $500 shares the Starter tier's behind-the-ball depth constraint and is a prove-the-concept unit, not a destination. Bushnell also lists an indoor-only Launch Pro (LPi) at $1,999.99. The Square Golf Omni is a newer beside-the-ball camera unit at $1,599.99 with no subscription and no PC required; it was on preorder when we checked, so check availability. And a screen note for every path: our screen is 4:3 at 10′ × 7′6″. BenQ's golf projectors (AH500ST, AK700ST) offer a Screen Fill or Auto Screen Fit mode for 4:3 screens, and any other 16:9 unit can use a 2880 × 2160 custom resolution from a PC.
What it costs every year after year one.
Almost every launch monitor and sim software carries an annual subscription, and almost nobody puts them in the price. Here is the whole list.
| Subscription | Annual cost | The fine print, plainly |
|---|---|---|
| Rapsodo MLM2PRO Premium | $199.99/yr | or $329.99 for two years, or $599.99 lifetime; required for course play and third-party software |
| Garmin Golf | $99.99/yr | or $9.99 a month; unlocks Home Tee Hero courses on the R50 and R10 |
| Bushnell Foresight+ Silver | $199/yr | session history, drills, and data views on a Launch Pro |
| Bushnell Foresight+ Gold | $599/yr | the tier Bushnell requires for GSPro and other third-party software on a Launch Pro |
| Uneekor Pro | $199/yr | the lowest Uneekor tier that unlocks third-party software such as GSPro |
| GSPro | $250/yr | the community-favorite sim software; Windows only |
| E6 Connect | about $300 to $600/yr | depending on tier; we could not confirm this one at the source, so check current |
| Awesome Golf | $159.99/yr | or $349.99 lifetime; the iPad-friendly option |

Also budget for.
A hitting mat
The one component quality genuinely varies on. A good mat protects your joints; a bad one lies about your strike.
Balls
The MLM2PRO needs RPT-marked balls (Titleist Pro V1 or Callaway Chrome Tour RPT) to show spin numbers: a real recurring cost. Uneekor says its EYE MINI Lite reads the ball's dimples, so it needs no marked balls.
The HDMI run and power
Projector to source is a long cable pull. Budget the cable, the routing, and an outlet where the projector lives.
Mount hardware
A ceiling mount and plate for the set-and-forget path, or a cart and shelf for the zero-drill path. Tens of dollars, not hundreds, but it is on the list.
Launch monitors turn up used and open-box all the time, and buying that way can lower your entry cost. We sell no monitors, so it costs us nothing to tell you that. Check which subscriptions transfer with a used unit before you pay.
Now you know how to finish it. Start with the bay that folds flat.
Every tier above stands inside the same enclosure: 10′ × 7′6″ × 5′ deployed, flat against the wall when you are done, no drilling anywhere. The waitlist is free and hears the build schedule first.
